Background Information:

Social: Arthur was a fencing champion by the time he was 13, defeating all comers despite their greater age and experience. Born to a rich family he was taken to the highest parties, experienced the upper classes of both England and France and showed his skills to the world. He was on a path to self-destruction and by the time he was turned he was recklessly challenging anyone to duels to the death by rapier for the slightest offence.
After he was turned Arthur began to lose his reckless side and became more patient, more controlled and more relaxed. During his time as a vampire up to the present he continued to duel and fence professionally, in many different countries. And when the wars came around he joined up without hesitation in a show of patriotism hardly ever seen in immortals. During the first wave of wars since becoming a vampire he was an officer and a gentleman, using a sabre from horseback and leading galliant charges. When the industrial wars came, the world wars, he fought as a NCO instead to lead charges and look after the men under his command, something which was frowned upon by other vampires as most of his men (bar two) were only humans.
The last war Arthur was involved in directly was the vietnam war, after which he began to move into economics, buying up large stocks of companies with the money he'd built up over the years. After only a few years he was one of the richest men in the human world and so decided to withdraw from the human eye and focused on his duties to the Court, providing more control over the humans through their economy for the Queen and the Court.
